<1,,2413,hieros> denotes "consecrated to God," e.g., the Scriptures, 2 Tim. 3:15, RV, "sacred" (AV "holy"); it is used as a noun in the neuter plural in 1 Cor. 9:13, RV, "sacred things" (AV, "holy things").
